💧 Fix the moisture first
Mold always comes back if the moisture behind it isn’t fixed. A leaking pipe, a damp basement or poor ventilation needs to be taken care of for cleaning to last.
🧱 Mold inside walls or large areas
We clean mold and mildew on carpets, rugs, furniture and floors. We don’t test for mold, open up walls or remove drywall. If mold covers a large area or is growing inside walls or ceilings, we’ll tell you honestly so you can bring in a mold remediation contractor.
Common questions
Can a moldy carpet be saved?
Often, if the mold is on the surface and caught early. If the padding underneath stayed soaked for a long time, replacing the pad or carpet may be the better choice. We’ll tell you which makes sense before you spend anything.
Will the mold come back?
Not if the moisture is gone. If the area keeps getting wet or stays humid, mold will return no matter how well it’s cleaned. That’s why we always point out the source.
Do you test for mold?
No. We’re a cleaning company, not a mold inspector. If you need testing or an air quality report, a mold inspector can do that.
Is that musty smell always mold?
Not always, but it usually means something stayed damp. A cleaning and deodorizing visit often solves it, and we’ll let you know if we find something bigger.
